James Wilson Treadway, 1832-1895

James Wilson Treadway was born March 5th, 1832 in (Barnwell) South Carolina.
James married Amanda (Mandy) Sellars in Mississippi (probably Attala County where the Sellers & Treadways lived). Amanda was the daughter of John and Lucretia Sellers.
Their 6 children were:
William H. Treadway
Dudley Townsend Treadway. Dudley married Laura J. Jones
Georgia Treadway/Sellars. Georgia married John W. Sellars (her cousin)
Laura Treadway/Petrus. Married Ferdinand Petrus
Augusta A. Treadway/Miller/Brazzel. Augusta married first S. E. Miller, and then ? Brazzel
Mary Emma Treadway/Bradford/Huffman. Mary Emma married Samuel Bradford then H. W. HuffmanMandy divorced James Wilson Treadway on November 12th, 1879 in Alexandria. She moved to Vernon Parish to live with her mother, Lucretia Sellers.
James died on October 6th, 1895. They are both buried in Provencal Cemetery.
