Granville Lewis "Skoot" Robertson Granville Lewis Lipscomb "Skoot" ROBERTSON was born on September 3rd, 1898 in Greenville, Texas (Hunt County). Skoot married Eva Catherine HOWARD on January 20th, 1932 in Fredrich, Oklahoma. Their children were: Patsy Jean Robertson/Petrus Hilda Faith Robertson/West Theresa Merle Robertson Skoot died July 3rd, 1980 at Spohn Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was buried in Eastview Cemetery in Vernon, Texas (Wilbarger County). I remember when grandpa showed me his wooden marbles that he kept in an old cigar box. I remember him wade-fishing at Rattlesnake Point in Rockport. Skoot was famous for his distrust of banks and was rumored to have buried most of his money in his garden.
